When the timber windows of 50 heritage properties began to show inevitable signs of ageing, such as rot and draughts, Bournville Village Trust turned to Ventrolla to sympathetically restore and renovate each window to its former glory.
For over a century, King Edward VI Handsworth School in Birmingham has stood as a symbol of educational excellence and architectural grandeur. Its 73 stately sash windows have long framed the school’s vibrant learning environment. However, time had diminished the windows’ original splendour, and the building failed to meet modern efficiency standards.
With a vision in mind but little more than the skeleton of a building, homeowners Louis and Haley turned to Ventrolla to bring their timber sash windows back to life during their extensive renovation project.
