Preserving a historical British chocolate-box village.
When the timber windows of 50 heritage properties began to show inevitable signs of ageing, such as rot and draughts, Bournville Village Trust turned to Ventrolla to sympathetically restore and renovate each window to its former glory.
Subtly transforming a historic schoolhouse.
For over a century, King Edward VI Handsworth School in Birmingham has stood as a symbol of educational excellence and architectural grandeur. Its 73 stately sash windows have long framed the school’s vibrant learning environment. However, time had diminished the windows’ original splendour, and the building failed to meet modern efficiency standards.
Bespoking sash windows for a 200-year-old Georgian home.
With a vision in mind but little more than the skeleton of a building, homeowners Louis and Haley turned to Ventrolla to bring their timber sash windows back to life during their extensive renovation project.
Reviving heritage: the Andersons’ journey with Ventrolla.
For Mr. and Mrs. Anderson, the windows and doors in their beautiful Grade II listed home needed to balance functionality with their passion for heritage preservation.
Charming Chorlton: a double-glazed home transformation.
Chorlton House is a stunning five-storey Edwardian semi-detached home that beautifully marries original features with Scandinavian inspiration
Crafting bespoke sash windows for a 200-year-old Georgian home.
Fifteen timber sash windows. Each combining traditional craftsmanship with modern functionality while preserving the original features.
Restoring an iconic hospital façade.
On Nuttall Street in Hackney stands the venerable St Leonard’s Hospital, a Grade II listed building steeped in rich heritage. Our project was to breathe new life into 160 of its distinguished sash windows, each a silent witness to the hospital’s heroic past.
