It’s the start of a new and exciting era for Ventrolla. We are pleased to announce that we are under new ownership, following our acquisition by RFM Group – a fellow Yorkshire company with a 60-year heritage in the property and construction market.
RFM Group have acquired us from ERA Home Security Limited (owned by Tyman Plc), a leading supplier of engineered components to the UK door and window industry. On completion of the acquisition, Tyman Plc CEO, Jo Hallas, summed up the news.
‘Ventrolla is quite a different business to the rest of the Tyman portfolio, but has a market leading position and deserves to be further developed. We believe that the RFM Group is the right parent company to take the business forward. It has been a privilege to have Ventrolla in the Tyman family and I know the company will go on to achieve greater things in their new home’.
RFM Group’s offering is the perfect complement to Ventrolla’s core business. In the same way that we offer a specialist restoration service for timber windows in homes and commercial buildings, they have a property repair team who work with homeowners on projects of all sizes. Where RFM differ, however, is through their key focus. They are driven very much by innovative technology in construction – something which Ventrolla’s Managing Director, Jarrod Marchant, is looking forward to.
He explained, ‘RFM Group’s level of technology and appetite for growth is refreshing, it is fantastic to be part of a truly integrated property company. Capitalising on our 21st Century machining and traditional handcrafted skills, we look forward to building on Ventrolla’s 37-year history.’
Ian Flanagan, RFM Group CEO agreed,
‘Ventrolla’s craftsmanship and modern engineering complement RFM Group’s world-class technology and property expertise. Their quality products – and the high esteem in which both customers and the industry hold them – is second to none. Alongside their talented team, I see great potential to develop their offering further by utilising RFM’s robust processes and smart technology.’
While Ventrolla’s existing and new customers are set to benefit from this marriage of craftsmanship and cutting-edge technology, ultimately the acquisition means business as usual. Our Head Office and manufacturing facilities all remain here at Harrogate, and we would like to reassure customers that they’ll continue to enjoy the same high standards of service and customer experience from Ventrolla.
