1. Go neutral & natural

2. Think all shades of pinks

Shades of pink take centre stage in 2022 – from relaxing dusky pastels and vibrant sugar pinks to deep, warm jewel tones (a particular favourite in Victorian homes). There are no rules about which pink to pick, but you may find that pinks work with more colours that you’d think. Houseplants continue to be the accessory of choice – reflecting the Victorian obsession for greenery in the home. If you’re a novice try relatively easy to care for plants, like statement Kentia palms, frilly Boston ferns, statuesque Monsteras and trailing Philodenrons, for an authentic heritage look, that’s also bang on-trend.
